Digi-Star develops, manufactures and markets electronic weighing systems to the leading agricultural original equipment manufacturers ("OEMs") in North America and Europe. Digi-Star's products typically represent components or add-on features for OEMs' feed mixers and grinders, grain carts, weigh wagons and bulk commodity and animal weighing systems.
The Company's electronic weighing systems are used as management tools for four primary applications: (1) on-board weighing of feed for beef cattle and dairy cows; (2) on-board weighing of grain as it is deposited in grain carts that are used to transport harvested grain from the combine to storage; (3) weighing livestock to measure and record animal data used to manage production; and (4) weighing poultry feed.
