Behrens is a manufacturer and distributor of galvanized and metal ware. The Company manufactures a wide variety of galvanized steel products such as pails, garbage cans, utility tubs, and funnels as well as other products for the promotional and advertising premium markets.
The main category of production is metal ware, which encompasses "garbage cans" sold primarily in the hardware department, pails sold in the paint department or buckets, pails and planters sold in the lawn and garden department of various retailers. The automotive category encompasses funnels and oil pans marketed under the Behrens brand, and a similar line manufactured under private label. The Ad Premium Item category includes buckets and pails private labeled for major corporations and for the major professional sports leagues. Behrens does not have the rights to any of the brands but rather manufactures products for the licensee.
