It processes steel purchased from mills and sells the processed products to manufacturers. Its products include hot-and-cold-rolled steel coils and sheets, galvanized coils and sheets, and other specialties. Serving as the sole venture investor, CFB provided the company with expansion capital. CFB and Steel Manufacturing management sold the company to Metals USA, a NYSE consolidator of steel services.
